Things I'll miss about musical:
Laurie saying "You make me beam" and "I have a cat!"
"Five Forever"
"Off to Massachusetts"
random agility--for example,
A few days ago a dancer handed me a mike and said, "Can you take this to Eric?" I took it, went into the hall and started running. At the door to the chorus room he appeared so I shoved it into his hand and sprinted back. When I burst into the wings the change had just started so instead of slowing down I leaped over some chairs and charged onstage. I felt so competent.
Things I won't miss:
being creeped upon by Eric
feeling awful around the junior techies
having to set the portfolio in every single scene
wearing all black
"I'd Be Delighted"
"More Than I Am"
Today I was freaking out. I didn't want to go home or go to the cast party so I sat in the parking lot for a while looking at the cars parked near me. Then I drove around, screaming and keening at nothing. My head was filled with static. It felt like I was never going to stop.
So Hell Week is done and I'm...done.
