To My Friends.

It still panics me that we're going to graduate and leave this place, but I think it's also enthralling. Like, we can go wherever we want. We can work in the summer and leave this place, maybe not for school and not for long but--it's possible. We can couch-surf. We can take trains, they actually still exist, even in the U.S. We could sleep in our cars, I am not so haughty. We can camp along the way, and explore Idaho, I've heard it's beautiful. Soon we will not be tied by anything but our own minds.

(Check this: got it at the meet on Thursday. Highlighter-colored. Fun to have fun with.)

Today I took the SAT, again. (To be realistic, I did not need it. I will not attend school out-of-state, because I would rather get a moderate-quality education and graduate free of debt.) Afterwards Alice and Anna and Katherine and I went out for lunch, then to Elisa's birthday party, which was fun and low-key. And now I'm back at home, exhausted and excited about tomorrow: day for catching up on work, making gifts, resting my sore legs and doing laundry.
